About this product
Porcellionides pruinosus ‘Oreo’ Isopods are a striking variation of the popular pruinosus species, featuring contrasting black and white patterns that give them their dessert-inspired name. Like other pruinosus morphs, they are highly active, reproduce quickly, and thrive in warm, humid environments, making them a reliable and efficient cleanup crew. These isopods help maintain a healthy enclosure by consuming mold, leftover food, and decaying organic matter. Their unique appearance adds visual interest, while their hardy nature makes them an excellent choice for both beginners and experienced bioactive keepers.
